Matter of higher pay scale for primary teachers:

The rules for recruitment of Education Inspector were published from the announcement dated 31-01-19. Subsequently, in view of the existing provisions of the rules regarding higher pay scale of primary teachers in the state, necessary instructions were given in the letter dated 25-06-2019 under reference (1) of this department.

Subsequently, the implementation of the instructions given by the department under the reference-2 dated 16-07-2020 from the letter dated 25-06-2019, was postponed by the department till the necessary policy decision is taken in this case. It has now been decided to make necessary amendments in the recruitment rules applicable in consultation with the concerned administrative department in respect of higher pay scale of primary teachers. The instructions given in the letter dated 25-06-2019 against Reference-1 of this section are canceled with effect from the original.
